Virus Scanner???
i need a virus scanner and i have read of 4 main one on this site: Norton, McAffee, Panda, and Pc-Cillin. I heard NAV causes alot of problems and it has caused me alot of problmes before and i heard alot about panda being really good i am just wondering which one u guys would recomend for me

I have read at forums that NOD32 is very good.
I use AVG and I'm very pleased with it.
At work(XP pro) we use Norton with no problems...

AVG is a great one, they have a free version and a Pro pay for version. I've used the Pro version, and there really isn't much difference from that and the free version.

Another anit-virus program which I believe should be on the list of those considering adding an anti-virus program is eTrust EZ Antivirus. I've been using it for several years now and find it effective, very easy to use, frequently updated to cover new virus and very easy to update. It's not free, but it's reasonably priced.

if u can afford $19.95 per year , buy KAV lite
Kaspersky Antivirus Lite
if you want a free one, try either AVG as advised or try Avast4 from
Avast
it is a nice free product (better detection than AVG but uses more resources).
