Now that will really be a BIG change for many computer enthusiasts, won't it? :D Just shows us again that there is nothing as constant as change, albeit sometimes it's slow in happening...

Uh OH! First DOS, now BIOS.
What's a person to do when their existing MBoard goes kerflunk.
Looks like they are going to force us into the 21st century whether we like it or not. :) Most of us kicking and screaming, I dare say. :D
Sure a very interesting outlook. Though I'm not quite sure on the reserved HD usage EFI will require. We shall see I guess.
...and what am I gonna do with all my collections of BIOS tweaks and tips ??? After some 20 years I finally understand 15% of the BIOS functions and now I gotta give that up ? ;) ...
Compaq and HP have that concept already, it is called a soft BIOS. And Boy oh boy are people going to get into all kinds of troubles! As if we do not see enough of that already. :(Quote:

Still, like the idea though.
I don't mind the bios....
