win98 clients won't run logon scripts from win2k server
last week I upgraded a small lab of 40 or so somputers to run off Windows 2000 server. Clients are win98, and there were 2 NT servers. The win2k server became head of the domain and all scripts, user files, etc were transfered over. After it was hooked up, users logged in and there scripts ran. A few days later they stopped working. Today I rebooted the servers and it worked for a while. Now the win98 machines start up. You can do a search for the logon script batch file you want to runa nd it is in the netlogon share on the win2k machine. Run it and everything is there. I checked the scirpts on the NT machines which are still part of the network and made sure all scripts were the same in case they were searching there.
Do you have any ideas why the scripts aren't running or where I can look? thanks
back to scratching my head.
