hard drive spins freezes up pc for about 30 seconds

Well if I use my pc for a while all of a sudden my hard drive will start spinning for about 30 seconds and nothing responds it acts like the pc is frozen then after about 30 seconds it works fine.
Also I can't run disk cleanup when I run it, it just stalls and does not responds.

Thats everything that is running so do you have a idea what is wrong. The way it is going I am just going to end up formating my pc and starting over again.

My first thought would be to shut down about 90% of the stuff you have running. What is most likely happening is that one or more of those programs is writing to the hard drive and that stops everything. Going back and reading your list again, nothing needs to be running in that group. They can be started when you need to run them.

You can go to start --run--msconfig--startup tab and remove the check from all the boxes a possible leaving only systray, antivirus, and firewall if you have one. Then reboot and see if you still have the same problem.

In Task Manager make sure that you've got CPU & CPU Time showing in the Processes tab (View>Select columns). Keep Task Manager open on the Processes tab, and next time the 'puter does it see which process is grabbing all the CPU cycles. Hopefully that'll help identify the source of the problem.
