email sent to deleted folder

strange problem.
IE 5.5
dowloading messages successfully but they go straight to deleted items folder bypassing inbox.
any ideas?

Check to see if you've accidently got that address onyour blocked sender's list?
(Open Outlook Express, go to tools.....message rules.....blocked sender's list)

Thanks. never thought about that. Now it won't send email anywhere except addresses on its own isp. It is a friends machine so not sure what all happened to it.
