where can i get a copy of win 3.1 for my laptop with no cd rom i want this in order to put some kind o/s on my laptop. also i have a pcmcia card with a erthanet lap link coupler and cable the small end of the data cable goes in the coupler but where does the other end go its to big to go in the back of my pc ...............sorry im so thick........
You can still get Windows 3.1 (and Windows for WorkGroups 3.11, which is better) on ebay.com. (Use Windows 3.1 in the search box).
As far as your cable, what does the connector look like? Is it a RJ45? (Looks like a RJ11 phone cord plug but larger). If so, it plugs into a hub, switch, or router on your network. If not, is it a male or female connector and how many pins does it have?
