error msg: 'not a valid win32 application.'

I am reinstalling Canon BJC 6000 and went to their website and downloaded latest drivers (12mb). Then when trying to install I get error msg: 'BJC6000_98ME_v6831.exe is not a valid win32application.' I used original CD installation disk first. This seems like repeat of an old question, but I forget... Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Norm69

Sounds like a corrupted file to me. Try downloading it again, or try downloading it from a different site if available.
