Clearing Resources
Hi All,
I don't think that there is any software for my problem, but I'll ask anyway.....
Presently I boot to 97% resources available. After running AOL (keep your jokes to yourself :D ) , maybe ICQ, and my golf game,(All resource hogs) and after shutting them down, I'm left with resources in the low to mid-80's. If I fire AOL up again this takes me down into the 70's. Then if I want to play Golf online, more than likely I will have problems due to even lower resources.
Is there software available to clear my resources after shutting down programs, without having to reboot?
Thanks as always for your help.
Dave

To be brief, no.
But, if you are not getting Out of Memory or Low on Resources errors, don't worry about them.
Make sure you are ending AOL, etc, normally (not via ctl-alt-del), otherwise they do not get a chance to release any Resources that they may have tied up.

That's what I thought....
