Program Files

I recently dragged a program from START PROGRAMS menu onto the desktop. I wish to put it back and create a proper shortcut.

I cannot seem to get it back to the menu.

So create a new one:

Rightclick your Start Button > Explore > Programs > create new shortcut.

BTW, everything in your Start Menu is a shortcut already, so I'm not sure whether I understand exactly what you mean.

However, that's the way to do it.

Afterwards, just delete the Desktop shortcut, if you like.
