DVD players and MP3s
Wasn't sure where to post this but...
If I go to Best Buy or similar store they sell DVD players for the TV and some of them have different features.
Some play Audio CDs (All of them do I think)
and Some of them are MP3 compatible.
Being MP3s compatible; does this mean I could take a CD with about 100 MP3s songs on it and play them through this player?

my 350 sony dvd only plays dvd movies
my 60 apex plays dvd/svcd/vcd/mp3/jpeg
check circuit city for the apex

Don't expect the mp3's played on your DVD player to sound the same as an audio CD played in your CD player. Many DVD players, including my RCA, will chop off the beginning or end of the song.

There are differences in the mp3 decoding and playback capabilities of different DVD players. But there are ones that are quite good (including not doing things like chopping).
Running_on_Wheel mentioned Apex players. I'll second a vote for them. Apex makes very good and reasobly priced players.

Thank you all for the replies.
I do not have a burner but I often see people talking about having to convert to CDA (CD Audio) format but never a mention of just burning the mp3 format.
I would guess that newer automobile CD players can play mp3 format too. Would this also be correct?
(I am trying to justify getting a burner)
