closure to 3.x box
I wiped it and thru a CGA video card in the 8 bit extended slot i have and thru Red hat 6.x on it. running KDE now on 128 mb fpm ram - i got the specs from a good buddy that works for Intel and he gave me duel 386DX processors (same stepping) and a driver package that would choke a horse for redhat to find the drivers i needed for my components.
Thanx everyone for your help!

I'm rather intrigued by this whole "dual 386" thing, and that the board holds 128MB of FPM RAM.
What is this particular board? If it were truly a dual 386 board, then there may also be 2 additional unpopulated sockets for the math coprocessors. It would also be quite rare.
But, Linux would be a much better choice for an OS in this case, as Win3.x/9x/ME do not support SMP.

128 MB times, what was it back then in the late 80's, at least $100 per meg (if you could even find it)? That'd be $12,800 just for RAM. How much was a new automobile back then? :)
