Today is the anniversary of the creation of the Internet as we know it.....32 years ago today AL Gore invented the internet https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ and without it we would not be able to convene here and share thoughts ideas and help others...

So my question is, what did they use the internet on ?

During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet" Gore said when asked to cite accomplishments that separate him from another Democratic presidential hopeful, former Sen. Bill Bradley of New Jersey, during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN on March 9, 1999.
Gore supported technological advances related to the advancement of the internet, but to say that HE took the initiative in creating the Internet is a bit much.
However, if folks believe he "Invented the Internet" lets not dispell that myth.
Saying that he took the initiative in CREATING the Internet is still a funny statement since the Internet was already created and being used (ex: file copying via the UUCP protocol and e-mail) by the time he was elected to Congress. One can't take the "initiative" to "create" something which has already been created.)
So anyway, as pertaining to HARDWARE and the INTERNET hats off to ya:

It's not true that Gore invented the internet.
But it is true that Bill Clinton invented internet porno.
