One continuous beep
Hi guys hope you can help me.
a computer has come in to the shop i work in and all it does when you turn the power on is onelong continuous beep.
what i have done so far
changed processor
change memory
change power supply (dont ask me why)
change video card
just had memory and processor +onboard graphics and still the same.
with this board the onboard graphics are ment to be disabled when you plug in a pci video card.
i have also cleared the cmos.
it is a AWARD bios.
motherboard is a socket 7 based on the sis 530 chipset.
the cpu is a k6-2 500 (which i have replaced with a k6-2 500).
i am lost with ideas now

i nearly forgot i found this link http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/award.htm
which says its a memory problem of some sorrt but i have changed the memory.
could this be the onboard motherboard memory ? the first 640k or whatever it is
