Database for web -- Need help
Hi all,
I need help about integrating a database application to my website. I know a little about Microsoft Access but I don't know how integrate it to a website.
What database application would you suggest, that is relatively easy to learn and to use, to be integrated to a website?
My idea is, for example:
1. Open a registration file (HTML) for a short course.
2. Users can register through this HTML file by inputting their data and then submit the registration.
3. This form should be connected to a database file which is supposed to automatically update the database file.
4. In addition to be updatable from a web page, I would also want to be able to update it from the database file.
Thanks so much.

What you want is Macromedia(Adobe) dreamweaver. It is not simple, but if you have experience with webpage design you will catch on quickly. It's very powerful and integrates with almost all Db, including Access.

Yes, I'm using DreamWeaver MX 2004. I just found out today that the registration file should be in the same server where the FileMaker, for example, is installed and that the DB file should be left open.
Thanks.

Cool and good luck. Post back when your DB is online!

Thanks. I made it online and we got some registrants right after it was fixed. I'm relieved.

Excellent! Is it public? I'd like to see it in action.
