Suggestion. Buy your own game, we can't help you since you didn't buy this game.

Hmmm. I would try launching the setup program from windows explorer. Also, clean the disc before trying again.

Photolady, he didn't give enough details that we could assume that the copy is illegal. Gift? Fair-use?

The language can be cut out too, as this is a forum for anyone of all ages.

Some system specs would be useful.

You have an 80gb harddrive with only 5gb free space? That might be part of your problem but the major problem is probably your video card. That one really isn't good for gaming.

Check with the link below if you're system will play call of duty 2:
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

I bet you'll find your video card isn't enough.

ProfessorU, I've never heard of "fair use" for games, or other software be it that.

When you checked that, did you check under the Recommended section or just the Minimum section?

Have you tried reloading the game and checking your drives are clean and/or the disk itself has no fingerprints on it?

80GB(HD) 5GB free disc space
Free Disk Space

Minimum: 4.0 GB of uncompressed free disk space (plus 600 MB for Windows 2000/XP swap file)

Free up a few GB. You can add a hdd and transfer a bunch to it. Burn to dvd and then remove what you burned. But until you do, that game will not install.

Video Card
Minimum: 3D Hardware accelerated card required - 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 64 MB (NVIDIA GeForce2 Ultra+ /ATI Radeon 8500+)
