    Monitor Pin

    Do all 15 pin monitor cables have the same pin setups that connect to the computer or do they have like different pins that are missing at different locations for different brands of monitors?For example one 15 pin male connector missing pin 9 and another missing pin 10 ect.ect.

    They're all the same:

    1 = Red Video
    2 = Green Video
    3 = Blue Video
    4 = Monitor ID 2
    5 = TTL Ground
    6 = Red analogue ground
    7 = Green analogue ground
    8 = Blue analogue ground
    9 = Key (plugged hole)
    10= Sync ground
    11 = Monitor ID 0
    12 = Monitor ID 1
    13 = Horizontal sync
    14 = Vertical sync
    15 = Monitor ID 3

    There are 2 pins that are sometimes not included on the DB-15... so if they aren't there, don't panic. If there's a problem, you'll probably notice it the moment it's attached.
