    Printer on a switch

Howdy, I'm trying to add a printer (TI microlaser pro 600) to my network. The lights are blinking on the switch (imix) but the green light (COL/FDX) does not come on.
I am running Win 2K on my other machines.
How do I config the printer?
    Thanks,
    Brad

You realise that COL/FDX indicates a collision on the segment and Full-Duplex mode? Is your printer capable of operating in full-duplex? if not the light will not come on. if the printer is the only device on the switch port then there will never be any collisions, so this light will never come on.

Do you have the manual? You should RTFM about giving the printer an IP address and a host name.
