connection sharing

my wife and i network and were modem sharing we had to switch things around and make the other computer the main one now on the client computer we can not get to the internet is says no dns found

host computer has win982nd
client windowsME

have configured it all the way we used to but client computer can not get to internet also on the client computer in internet options connection area there is no share button we have done what we were told to do on the help files to restore it but it isnt working.......cant find inetcpl.cpl or inetdplc.dll on the restore disks that came with the computer

we can network and see eachothers folders and stuff but can not internet share

what do we do?
