Trouble with Netscape
Since loading Microsoft Office 2000, I have been unable to run Netscape. I get the error message "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" and the Details says that Netscape.exe has created an illegal page fault. I have removed and re-installed Netscape completely several times and the problem persists. How to fix this problem?

If you have access to a good 3rd part registry checking tool......run it.
I have found Office 2000 likes to make a lot of references in the registry for internet explorer and really mess up Netscape.
I upgraded to Office 2000 and went though the same thing (thinking it was a problem with Netscape only).
After running FIX It Utilities reg checker, I could not believe the difference. Netscape is once again STABLE as before.
Good Luck
