    Stealth Boot Virus

I have a 486 laptop that has a neat little virus, called the "Stealth Boot" Does any one know where I might get some freeware/shareware, that would help me get rid of this nasty lil bug? I've tried Panda,,,which by the way is some really great stuff,,,but it just tells me to quit my scan. It won't do the clean. Y'all are a great group, hope ya don't mind me sending some of my friends here.
