boot sector write

i have a 486dx2 cp30254h hdd trying to load dos 6.22 i can get half way thru disk one an i get a boot sector write error message what can i do to fix the problem thank,s mike w

Hi,

I think you need to enter CMOS setup and disable Boot Sector Virus Protection there. And in my opinion you better leave it disabled, because it never in my practice save anybody from virus, but always give you troubles while installing or reinstallind operational system.
