can not erase the location bar

when i visit a web site on the net my location bar will keep a record of it and i do not want it to. Some things are for my eyes only hehehehehe ...... need help badly.

I'll try to help you out a little bit. If you are using netscape, look in the cache subdir. that is where all the pages you have visited are posted (not the same as locations) but I could trace where you have been from there. Look in netscapes other subdir and look for any recently written files.

(in win95), Internet explorer keeps most things in the windows subdir. (I never ran IE under Win3.11). \

Also, go to options in both browser and clear memory, disk cache, etc. See if that helps.

Its been a couple of years since I worked with win3.11
