    Failed SCSI Drive

i have an older Dell server with three physical SCSI drives in it. one drive failed (E , and i believe that the E: drive is the last drive on the SCSI chain.

as long as the drive has a unique SCSI ID, should the O/S see the new drive?

The last device on a SCSI chain must also be terminated correctly.

    Yes.
More importantly, does the BIOS see it?
