    Opening BIOS

    Not strictly NT but have AP53/AX53 pios and can't get into bios to change settings
    have tried Del, Esc, Esc-Ctrl, Ctrl-Alt-Ins,
    Ins, Suggestions please

    'F2' is a common one. If you can't get in, just press your hand down on a bunch of keys when the computer starts booting. This will cause a keyboard error. You should receive an option to enter setup than.

    Tried F2 and also the whole bunch of keys still no results Any more ideas out there?

    Try unplugging something, like your floppy drive for example, and wait (sometimes REALY long, try 30 min) for a error, that's what I had to do on a old computer I had some time ago.

    Thanks ALS NeuroN I disconnected the hard drive and booted it and nothing happened. Re connected the drive and got into the BIOS on boot up with Del. Thanks
