Specter of past installation
Not important, but...
Last week I installed Win7 Ultimate on a partition. When finished I decided I did not want it where I installed it, so I formatted the partition. I then installed it on another partition.
All seems fine, except when I boot, I am offered the two Win7 "installations" after POST. Both are called "Windows 7". If I choose what I assume is the wiped one (formatted) one I am told there is no operating system (which is correct). The other boot option works fine and the PC boots properly.
Is there some way to get rid of the wiped option?

For future reference, if you delete the "System Reserved" partition when you format the old partition, Setup will create a new System Reserved, but you won't get the dual boot entries.
