Resolved [RESOLVED] dvd drive trouble

HP Pavilion,AMD Athlon xp 2400 2ghz,128mb video card,1gig pc2100 ddr mem,
win xp home sp3,IE7,Virgin Cable broadband-10mb.

Hi can someone help me,both my dvd drives dont work,i posted 10th jan 2010
with this problem and it was resolved when i was told to use autorun fix.That time i was still able to use the drives through "run" but this time both drives
wont work at all no matter what i do.I tryed running autorun fix again but they still wont work.Can anyone help me with this, thankyou

And when you put in a cd/dvd - what happens/doesn't happen?

Do you get any sort of message?

Have you blown the dirt out of the drives?

Try this fix:

You can no longer access the CD drive or DVD drive...

dvd drive trouble

Hi, the problem turned out to be with zone alarm and tomb raider aod,when i disabled it, the drives both worked and i installed my game,tomb raider aod.
It seem's zone alarm doesn't like traod as i installed GTA VC without disabling
zone alarm and it all went ok.Thank's for all help
