MSXML 6.0 sp2 install issue
I am trying to install the latest version of MSXML 6.0. I downloaded and installed the original version and SP1, but when I try to install SP2, I get a microsoft message that says the program could not complete the install and to try again later. Have tried several times with no success. Read something that suggested SP2 could install the whole thing without MSXML on my system so tried removing program and installing SP2, but that didn't work. I am trying to get to Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express Service Pack 3 eventually, but it says I need the latest version of MSXML 6.0 first.
Anyone have this problem and know the solution? Thanks.

What happenned when you uninstalled the previous version and tried to install the SP2 version? Did you re-boot after uninstalling?

I think I got the same error message, but I am not sure I rebooted before I tried the sp2 install. I will try that again Monday when I am in my office next and post back if that does not work. thanks.

just removed msxml6.0 and rebooted and tried to install sp2. I got same error message that says "installation was interrupted and could not complete. System has not been modified. Try again later."
Any ideas? Thanks.
