I would like to watch my wedding video

I stumbled across this site trying to locate an adapter and thought I'd ask if you know if there is such a thing. I recently got married and had a friend videotape our small wedding. Great idea, price was right, but when I was presented with a small cassette called a Panasonic DVC (miniDV) I realized the mistake I had made. I know the video can be watched on the camcorder but I don't own a camcorder. Is there any kind of adapter that I can put this DVC into so that I may watch my wedding video either on my TV or PC? Thanks for reading this and hope it is not too stupid of a question.....

Most digital camcorders can connect directly to a PC using a Firewire cable. If your PC doesn't have Firewire, you can buy a PCI card very cheaply. Then if you can get your friend to bring his camcorder round you can copy the tape direct to the PC. Here's quite a good article:
