Why isn't w3schools a good source? I learn stuff there.

What is w3schools?
Would anyone know if there is an online course or short quick course I can take to learn it. Reading books and online content is OK, but I learn much better when I'm pushed in a class.

"What is w3schools?"
http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp
For XML
http://www.w3schools.com/xml/
other xml links
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=XML+tutorials
Find a page you like, source it, dig into your tif and see how it is put together.
Online content and books are all I use with no fuss and not much expense.

Train got it. I always considered that a good beginner resource. I've used it plenty of times.
