It's the most secure because the User Account Control makes you turn off the computer after 10 minutes (or throw it out of the window)

A turned off, or smashed, PC is very secure

Coolness. I like what they did with IE7, but it seems a ho-hum user will just dismiss a message like this just so they can continue doing what they want and having no regard for what is happening:

killervirus.exe is attempting to run in an unsafe way. Do you want to allow this application to continue? Yes/no

Goodness knows most users will click yes just to get it out of their hair. Poor people ... thats what we are here for I guess.

Also, what do you mean after 10 minutes? Are you saying that if you are idle for 10 minutes it will kick you off? Its the dialup OS! :P

Also, XP was going to be the most secure when it came out too.... but was easily the least! I hope Microsoft will make their launch safer than XPs!

I appreciate that the boys in Redmond are determined to make "everyones" computer life safe. But imho,when it comes to safety on the internet,it's no different than the freeways at rush hour. No matter how you try to control people with speed limits and keep their butts safe with air bags all around and such,it just ain't gon'na happen!
And stickin' all that so-called security crap in the system has reached overkill major! For those of us who have taken the interest and time to learn the dangers on the net and have a scoash of common sense between our ears and taken the time to learn the proper settings in our browsers, they are only causing stress and headaches. If they just had sense enough to understand this and make it simpler to turn off the security that MANY of us don't need,the computing life would be much more enjoyable.

But so far,I for one,am not seeing that happen in Vista

as an advance user, the first thing I do if and when i upgrade to xp is to turn off all those "extra" features. The only people i see it will really help are noobs
