    Question Media Files (on hard drive) converted directly onto DVD software??

    Hi everyone,

    I am currently in search of a software programme that convert files into a dvd format and then directly burn them onto a DVD for playing.

    I am currently using WINdvd creator, and having problems burining to DVD. Everything works fine untill the final process of burning onto DVD, when it displays a burn message at the end saying 'burn error'. Therefore I am looking to purchase a similar software package, to create my Movies.

    Any suggestions??

    Thnks for your time

    There are many programs that will do what you want. I use Pinnacle Studio 9;
    http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Home/ and am satisfied with it. Does everything I need from capture to editing to burning to DVD. But there's many others. Ulead is reportedly good(I've never used it);

    There might even be some free ones that someone can steer you to.

    Also, you might try some of the free programs listed at www.videohelp.com

    I use a few of these programs. You don't say winDVD actually has burning capabilities, but if you're trying to Windows to burn them, that won't work becuase Windows burner won't burn DVDs.

    Nero will do what you want. I would suggest the 6.6 version instead of the version 7. You use the Nero Vision Express feature and it will convert Mpeg to vob and burn them to DVD very easily. The 6 version is available here ...
    Stupid question? No such thing!
