Problem with The Sims Complete Collection

Hey guys I just recently got the sims complete collection and installed it. There's only one problem I can't play the game. I am running windows xp home sp2 by the way. Every time I try to play it I get the following message....


also the version involved is 1.0 and basically in case you can't see the image it says that there is a protection error and that a debugger has been detected and unless I shut it down and restart the sims I won't be able to play. It also makes reference to windows nt users and winice and softice if anyone can let me know what's going on I would greatly appreciate the help... thanks all!

When you press Control+Alt+Delete and select Task Manager, do WinIce or SoftIce show up in the running processes? You could also use Hijack This to generate a log of running processes to examine.
