burning video clips+audio
Hi,
I'm trying to burn video clips in dvd format through nero.
It completes the burn on x4 speed only which takes awhile but i don't mind.
The problem is that when i play it on my dvd it seems that the video and audio aren't synchronized. The picture runs on the screen and the audio sounds 2-3 seconds later. When i run the video on the computer there's no problem...
Is it nero? should i use a different program or is there an option i'm not aware of in the nero program?
Thanx
Some days you wake & immediately start to worry.
Nothing in particular is wrong, it's just the suspicion that forces are aligning & there will be trouble.

It's most probably your DVD player. Older DVD players don't play all formats well. I've got an older, but expensive, Panasonic player that will not play any DVD that I've burned, but a new cheapie that I got as a present will play anything you throw into it. Go figure. I guess it's going to stay that way until all manufactures agree on a single format.
The true test of character is not how much we
know how to do, but how we behave when we don't know what to do

What format are the input video files? are you using Nero Recode? are the audio and video in sync on the input files? you might consider converting them to a different format before encoding in Nero, and try a test run to a hard drive folder, then play it back.
