If i put in subject such as Elvis., and get 10,000 hits; google starts me to navigate from the first of 10,000 in pages of 10 or 12 links ..,
How can i navigate to the very very end of 10,000
(or page 1000) quickly ????

I don't know of an easy way to get to the last page, but you could try narrowing down your search by using the Advanced Search feature. It's to the right of the search box. Or try using different key words to make your search more specific. Think about what kind of info you're trying to find out about elvis and add that to your keywords. Example: Elvis Biography, Elvis Performances, etc.
If someone knows a quick keyboard shortcut, or something, I'm sure that they'll let you know. Good Luck.

Another option when searching for Elvis entries is put a + plus before the extra words, that way google won't generate general words, like (the, and, or, to,). Also as was previously stated search for specific Elvis entries. I doubt there is any way to just go to the last page of any search results.

If you go to the second page and look at the link, you'll see something like:
http://www.google.com/search?q=elvis...&start=10&sa=N
If you change the value for start, it'll take you further in the list. Setting it to 990 would get you to the last page of results, assuming Google finds that many:
http://www.google.com/search?q=elvis...start=990&sa=N
Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.
