I have been cleaning on a system and have everything almost fixed except this one problem. When I click to get on the internet it tries to bring up my home page yahoo.com and at the bottom of the page it just says done and no page displayed.I can hit refresh and it brings it up after that.I used hijackthis program and could have removed something from the registry to cause this but not sure. How can I make it bring up yahoo when I first try and get on the internet.I tried thr repair internet 6.0 option but same thing. The computer works great other than that small problem bringing up yahoo.I know I have read somewhere in the registry where to do this.tdark

tdark--The fact that you can access the yahoo.com page after clicking Refresh suggests there is nothing wrong with your PC. Sounds more like a problem with either your ISP's server or Yahoo's.
However, if this has started only recently, you could try Start|ShutDown|Restart at MS-DOS Prompt|at reboot type scanreg /restore |OK|Chose a date before the problem started|OK|Wait|Reboot.
    have everything almost fixed
If that does not help, what were the problems you were trying to fix?
And you can always post your HiJackThis log on this board's HJT forum for someone to look at. Read the stickies first.
