Unload Debugger
I have tried to install several games and get the same message each time on some of them
debugger detectected. unload debugger and try again appears each time i try access the game.
How do i go about locating and removing this problem.

Hi Garry, you don't specify which games are giving you this problem, but there are a number of possibilities.

Also have you checked the game producer's websites for patches, done Windows updates and installed up-to-date video drivers? Check the video driver for a debug-on-the-fly option & disable if there.
If you discover the problem is caused by anti-virus software, but don't want to run without an anti-virus, disabling heuristics in the AV may suffice. Some AVs heuristics set up a Virtual Machine and analyse suspicious code ie a debugging facility.

Thanks to you for that. It would seem that it was the audigy 2 startup/welcome screen. I have disabled this and it does work on the stronghold crusader game that I am trying at the moment.
