USB MP3 Player
I want a device that I have never seen and am wondering if you have ever seen it. I've wasted too much time searching the net for it...
I would like something (whether it be for the car, an alarm clock, a stereo component, cd player, etc...) that has a USB port that I can plug in a flash drive with MP3s on it, and it would then play those MP3s. Anyone seen anything like this? If no, and you are the first to patent it, do not forget about PROONE!
THANKS!

There are several devices available that are USB sticks with MP3 players too.I have the MPFUB26 which has 256MB of room for data or MP3s and I believe theres also a player by another manufacturer that accepts SD cards if memory serves.

I think proone's point is that he doesn't want an MP3 player, why cant the car CD, the stereo etc just have a USB socket on the front, and know to play MP3s off any removable drive that's plugged into it.
I think it's a neat idea, get in the car, plug in the flash drive, listen, arrive at a friends place, "Heard this?", plug it in, blasts over the stereo...
The combination Flash Drive/MP3 Players mentioned by 104456 would work just as well in this situation, and be able to play personal mobile as well.

I think I may have to get an MP3 player, what bothers me is size, features, audio output, and BATTERY :s. If I wire up a transformer to it, I have all those clumsy wires coming out of the batterry compartment.
This would be the simplest most inexpensive device to make and it does not yet exist

It's a USB/mp3player/FM transmitter that you can recieve and play back through your car (or whatever) FM stereo.

I love it! Thanks! To me that would be more of a toy than anything. Its a bit too expensive for me. A truly great idea though!
