How Were The First Threads Decided

How was it decided which threads became The Lounge start up ones ?

With this one I have started 4 of the 18 (as at this posting) which makes me look like a bit of an OT starter.

P.S. should the locked OT threads have been unlocked ?

Hey Nix, the most recent threads were moved over from the Feedback Forum & unlocked. The lounge has just been up a short time, when it's noticed by more members im sure more people will be posting here. Meanwhile post away, try & make them as interesting as you can. BJ

    Cheers.

Actually I was a little surprised when i noticed a thread I had responded to was now in 'The Lounge'.

    Especially after all the knockbacks.

    Things change I guess.

And, no, I'm not going to be the person who starts the Alphabet thread where you have to come up with a computer related thing starting with the next letter of the alphabet.

Why not? That sounds like an interesting topic, if......they keep it to no body parts....

I may do, but I'll see if it's brought back first.

Supersparks, have you deleted your post?

You did say that you would restore all of the off topic threads if there was a demand. Have you or someone else changed your mind?

Philgo, I pm'ed him & told him that moving all those threads was not necessary, the ones already there were sufficient & he didn't need the extra work. BJ

How about the "Does God exist thread", do you have concerns that it will get out of hand?

the subject of religion is always an "iffy" topic. but i think it is good b/c its lets u hear the views and ideas of others

Yes those types of threads seem to spiral out of hand so we had better let it rest. BJ

    OK I'll let it rest,

Would have appreciated a PM, rather than the way it's been handled though, a tad Big Brother..............
