A salutary lesson

It just goes to show that even people who ought to know better can lose all their common sense when offered vast sums of money:

419'ers take Aussie financial advisor for $1,000,000

You'll find the related links a good read too, especially the "Anatomy of a 419 scam".

They say its easy to steal from a greedy man I guess this proves the point.
It also questions the honesty of those whose word is given everyday on multi million dollar share deals on the terms my word is my bond.

On behalf of all Aussie members of VDr I'd just like to say that we're not as dumb as this guy.

I mean come on - do people who fall for these things live in their own little world or something.

Are they really lacking the life experience and interaction with humanity that when they come across something like this they think it is for real ??

Or are there just to many greedy people ?

Hi, not so sure about that Nix we have just given Howard control of the Senate. Now I am liberal yet I like to keep a reign on either party, this has always been the Senate. Watch the trees fall in Tassie now. I cannot access your site Nick, (did want to read this) maybe will work later is this link right:-

We, what we, I didn't vote for him.

Anyway I heard last night that they're predicitng interest rates will rise by 50% over the next two years.

Howard never said he wasn't going to raise interest rates but he used the scare tactic of implying they would rise under the Labour government and enough people fell for it and Howard got back in.

Now he's there - interest rates to rise by 50% - all I can say is don't come wingeing to me as it's not my fault because I didn't vote for him..
