Question Yahoo Messenger & Outlook Express

Whenever I open Yahoo Messenger 6.0 and I am running Outlook Express at the same time, the toolbar buttons on Outlook Express get wider and wider. The more I open and close Yahoo Messenger, the wider the buttons become. Is this a common fault in Messenger? Is there anything i can do to correct it?

    Hi Shirben,

    Welcome to Virtual Dr.

As I had said in a post earlier here http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...hreadid=165011 , I have been facing couple of other problems with the lastest YM

Recently I have noticed that my Outlokk Express hangs when I start it if YM is running, while my Outlook XP works fine without any issues.

I have been hearing that the lastest version of YM has been giving problems on old OS's like Win98. (Frequently the system freezes)

I am not too sure if people at Yahoo know about all these bugs !!
    Regards,
    Vaibhav Kapoor

I am running Yahoo messenger and have 98SE. I have no problems with it and any other programs I run. All I can suggest is dl an older version of messenger til yahoo works out the rest of the bugs.

I've got a friend with this problem on a brand new Windows XP machine with SP2. He has the latest version of Yahoo Messenger and has run all the Windows updates. It's 4 years since the original post on this thread. Has anyone found a fix for it?
