Programs not starting for some reason
I have a relatively new computer (P4 2.53, HDD 80Gig and 256 RAM) but for some reason a number of programmes that used to work are now coming up with the "xxxxxx has experienced a problem" pop up box (and no I don't want to tell Microsoft about it!).
I do have a number of programmes on my computer and some rather large, does this have anything to do with it?
Also Microsoft Zoo Tycoon came a preloaded game and the damn thing will not uninstall, any ideas?
Cheers,
Pace

Welcome to VDR.
I have not had any problems with programs not starting but have you tried deleting the game in safe mode.????
I have had to remove a lot of programs that way and it does work. In safe mode, only the drivers for windows loads and none of the games or other programs.
cheers mac
If computers are so smart, why don't they just fix themselfs??
Drive like you work---slow

This really depends greatly on WHICH programs you're talking about, what version of Windows you have, and what you did recently that might make this occur.
More detail would be very helpful.
The number of programs and/or their size likely has nothing to do with it.
