WORD2000-Can't remove the Watermark

We have a document where there is a watermark on page 2 and 3 but not on page 1. We have gone into our printer properties when we go to print the document and watermark in the effect tab is selected as NONE. We also tried looking in footers and headers. Any idea of how to remove this watermark from the document.

Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest way if you can't find the watermark:

Make sure you're viewing your drawing toolbar.
Make sure you're in Print Layout view (View-Print layout).
Click on the mouse pointer icon to get the "selection tool".
Click on the watermark.
Hit your delete key.
