    retaining freecell score

    Hi
Is there anyway you can transfer the current freecell score
    from one computer to another.?
My wife has the score for several thousand games, bur on previous upgrades, or reformatting it gets lost.
I even tried copying the file to a floppy.
    Thanks

    Go Start > Run

    Type regedit and click OK

    Press ctrl+f

Type freecell and click Find Next

Look at the bottom of the screen and you should see that the registry key your are in is
    Code:
    My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\FreeCell
    In the top tool bar:

    Click Registry

    Click Export Registry File...

    In the Window that opens:

Type a:\Freecell.reg in the File Name

Check Selected branch under the Export range

Put a floppy disk in the A: drive

    Click Save

When you have done a new install of Windows Me, put your floppy in A: and double click on the file Freecell.reg

Click Yes when asked if you are sure you want to add the information to your registry.

Click OK when advised the information has been added.

    Thumbs up

    Hi Nix
Absolutely fantastic, thanks, I wish I had thought to ask before.
It's stupid really but we groan everytime we do anything major
like buying a new machine or reformatting or something.
    Now we now how.
    Once again thanks.
