Well, for some reason my computer keeps shutting down when I use programs...Just completely shuts downs and I have to wait a sec and then turn it back on. Sometimes it also says that my v.r. memory is low. *************, sometimes it shuts down when I am burning cd's and totally messes them all up. So if someone can help me I would deeply deeply appreciate it cause I don't want to take it in to compusa and be charged ********** and then it might be just something small. So please, someone help me...

Could be heat related. Try moving the case somewhere where the air circulates more freely or opening the side of the case and running it that way for a day.
Some worms can work their way through older versions of Outlook and Outlook Express even without being executed. Definitely keep up on the virus scans and update from windowsupdate.com.

If you don't have a copy on there you might want to run Spyboy S&D

and clean out any trash picked up while wandering the web.

Going back to this try cleaning around inside you computer. get rid of any dust that can clog the fans. Dust can lead to overheating and may be a cause of you problem.
