Outlook not displaying images from the Web
Greetings...
On my system, for no reason I can determine, images that are located on the Web but which are meant be displayed inside email messages are not being displayed. Instead, I get empty frames with the li'l red x's.
I've tried adjusting my options (in Outlook 2000, my email program), my security levels, and my firewall (ZoneAlarm), but have had no luck in getting these linked images to display.
Can anyone shed some light on the problem?
Many thanks,
Josh

How are you getting the images into Outlook? Are you copying and pasting?
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Hi, Steven,
No, I suspect I haven't made the situation clear.
For instance, if an email comes in from an online retailer who has provided images, but the images are actually online and the email contains HTML that would ordinarily display the images as part of the email, those are the images that don't show up.
However, they're only not showing up in Outlook. If I view the same messages in another mail program, the images display properly.
Thanks again,
Josh
