cd burning problem
i'm using Adaptec's Easy CD Creator 4. When i try to browse for mp3's they don't show up. when i try dragging a mp3 file to the burning area an error pops up. it says:
the "file name" has an unrecognized file extension. Valid extensions are. WAV and .MP3. Please select a file with a .WAV or .MP3 file extension.
i have no idea what is wrong. the files i'm trying to burn are mp3's. anyone know what's wrong or know's a better program to use?

what os are you using?? If you're running XP, then version 4 is not compatible and you must be running either version 5 basic or platinum or version 6. As far as trying to burn mp3s with version 4, I'm not sure of that. I know that version 5 allows you to burn mp3s to cd and has various plugins or filters.

XP doesn't like 5.0 either. Microsoft says to use 5.1 or higher.
