Internet connection throttle
I wondered if any of you good folks have ever heard of an application that will throttle a broadband connection down to different dial-up speeds. I thought that this would be a good tool for testing web designs on my cable connection for compatibility with slower connections. TIA

If you are using IIS, I think you can throttle using the properties button in Internet Service Manager.
If you are using Apache, there are a lot of mods that throttle.

I am not that advanced. I was thinking more along the lines of being able to put a choke on my home machine to simulate a dial-up connection. So I can test my website hosted remotely.
