How can one post a video without viewer being able to fast forward?

    DESPERATE

    Thank you for reading:

I am trying to post a video that will not allow viewers to fast forward or skip ahead to a later point.

    Is it possible?

Is there a website you would recommend to get it done?

I am a vimeo plus member but they don't have that option.

thank you so much in advance!!

Unless you can get at the controlling script and make changes to it, not going to happen. We did that for Windows media player years ago.

Thank you so much for responding! Is there any website you know of that gives you the ability somehow?

Why - forces someone to watch the entire video, for example, for a critical training course.

Unfortunately, you have to be able to control the available functions on the player software to prevent fast forwarding. I have not seen any players where you can do that. That doesn't mean they don't exist though. You would probably also need a site to host it where you could disable that function.

Also, just because they can't fast forward doesn't mean they will pay attention to any boring parts.

    Possibly useful links:

Be aware though, that many viewers, myself included, might just click the "X" to close the viewer if the video player controls are disabled.

Capturing attention with a spellbinding performance will get you further.
