AHHH good.
But we find that for some reason, a av will miss something once in a while.
Might want to disable your av and run housecall once in a while. Just as a double check. I do.

My computer is back at it again. I tseems to be these things that are coming up first as not responding. Could it be something to do with my sound driver?

mmtask.exe
msgsrv32.exe
mixer

I checked the startup list link that I got yesterday and the first 2 had to do with sound, and I know mixer is sound related too.

Sorry to be such a pain!

Thankyou again
Suzanne

Perchance you have a SoundBlaster card and installed the dos drivers?
EDIT:
If it is you can try bistro's instructions:
Also, when installed, quite a few folks have had some problems/conflicts with the SB 16 emulator driver. Unless you play some legacy DOS games, you might considerr removing that particular driver. In Device Manager, under the Creative Misc. Devices entry, click on 'Creative SB16 Emulation' to highlight it. Go to Properties, then select "Disable this hardware profile"--(do NOT delete it, just disable). Reboot.

Found that hope it helps.
