dvd-rom drive
I just purchased a dell xps 13 laptop and it does not have a dvd-rom drive. Is there an adapter or some kind that I could get to connect my internal dvd-rom drive to my laptop or would I need to purchase an external rom drive?

For about the price of a decent adapter, you can get a much more portable external drive, if you don't need Blu-Ray capability.

If you need Blu-Ray, you will pay more.

The newegg uses the
instead of a power supply. Guess I need to upgrade my old stuff.

JDC2000, thanks for that advice. I was looking at the writer below. Is this one good or is the one you suggested a better dvd drive?

That Lite-On drive should work just fine.
